Ukraine initiated a vote at the United Nations Security Council on sanctions against Russia
The United States did not support introducing new sanctions against Russia when voting at the United Nations Security Council. TASS reports this.
According to the source, Ukraine initiated a meeting of the United Nations Security Council and held a vote. Besides the United States, African countries and all South American countries do not support him. Hungary also abstained.
At the same time, several countries supported Ukraine – among them South Korea, Australia, Japan and the Marshall Islands.
Previously, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke out about the behavior of Europeans during peace negotiations in Geneva. According to the diplomat, European representatives were practically excluded from the negotiating process and “sat in the locker room and drank coffee,” while the main issues were resolved by the Russian, American and Ukrainian delegations.
