Three people died in a shooting in Australia

At Cargeligo Lake, an unknown person opened fire on passersby, killing three people and wounding another and sending him to the hospital.

According to ABC News, the tragedy happened Thursday on Walker Street in Lake Cargeligo, New South Wales. As a result of the attack, 2 women and 1 man died, another person was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital, his condition was assessed as serious but stable.

According to this TV channel, the shooter who carried out the attack has not yet been arrested. Local emergency services attended the scene shortly after reports of the shooting. Police sealed off the area where the tragedy occurred and began investigating the cause of the incident.

City residents were urged by law enforcement agencies, if possible, not to leave their homes until the special operation was completed. There is currently no information about the attacker's motives.

As VZGLYAD newspaper wrote, in the US state of Mississippi, 6 people were killed as a result of shooting, including a 7-year-old girl.

The man who carried out the shooting at Sydney's Bondi Beach has been charged with 59 offences, including terrorism.

The death toll in the Sydney beach attack has reached 16 people.

14 people died at the scene, 42 others, including 4 children, were taken to the city hospital. Two people – a 10-year-old girl and a 40-year-old man – died in hospital.
