83-year-old woman's record: Bungee jumping from a height of 117 meters

83-year-old British woman Olena Byko performed a bungee jump from a height of 117 meters in Rishikesh, India. The video showing Byko happily dancing before the jump attracted great attention on social networks.

Olena Byko, an 83-year-old British citizen living in the northern Indian city of Rishikesh, broke the record for bungee jumping at a height of 117 meters. According to NDTV news, Byko made the jump on October 13 at the Şivpuri Bungee Jumping Center, one of the most famous adventure sports centers in the country. The video recording Byko's jump quickly spread on social networks. In the footage, Byko can be seen dancing happily before jumping and greeting the crowd by waving. Byko, who then calmly threw himself into the void, received immense admiration for the move, which audiences described as a “leap of courage.” He made me say “AGE IS JUST A NUMBER” Byko's jump of 117 meters was described as one of the most impressive performances ever recorded at the Shivpuri center.
