Avalanche crushed mountain climbers in Nepal: 3 dead, 8 missing

An avalanche struck a mountaineering team climbing Yalung Ri Himal in Nepal.

Yalung Ri Himal Mountain has a length of up to 5,630 meters, and is one of the popular destinations for mountain climbing enthusiasts.

The group of 15 people, including an international athlete, went to Nepal to climb Yalung Ri Himal.

However, the convoy's journey ended in disaster. According to information provided by Nepal police, an avalanche fell on the heads of climbers.

As a result of the natural disaster, 3 athletes died and 8 people are missing. Four people were injured and taken to the hospital. Police announced that search and rescue personnel were dispatched to the scene.

It is known that the identities of the missing and deceased athletes have not yet been determined.
