The command of the assassins, which many people know from the famous Assassin Creed series, in reality is not too mysterious and ancient. In fact, they appear right before the crosses, and the formation of the group is the result of a religious division imposed on a revolutionary policy. Medieval Information Portal.net speakWhat is the mysterious head of the assassin.

Assassin in reality: Who creates order – Hassan IBN Sabbach

In 969, the Shiites founded Caliphate Fatimid in Egypt-Korea of Muslims. In turn, Ismailism is a branch of Shiite Islam, making it hostile to other Islamic groups in the region, such as a significant part of the Arabs and later, the Turkish from the Thao Nguyen – they comply with the Sunni Muslim.

Egypt became the heart of the new sect, but one of its most important leaders was born in Persian. A person committed to ideas was not affected so he set a melody for the entire movement. He is Hassan IBN Sabbach – the founder of the future of Nizari in Persian.

Hassan was born in Kuma, on the territory of modern Iran, somewhere in the 1050s. His family was Shiites, but, for reasons not knowing historians, Hassan himself came to Ismailism when he was 17 years old. After that, he spent three years in Egypt, his new religious research and returned to Persia in 1081, wanting to play a top role.

But Hassan is not an ordinary religious leader. He owns the qualities that allow him to combine scientific research with the practical skills needed to conduct military companies and build the entire state from the beginning. However, his main feature is dedicated to ideals – devotion to overcoming any family or friendly relationship.

Persia in which Hassan was born, foreign quintessence – Turkish people in ethnic groups, Sunni – in religion. Situations allow him to easily play the role of both national defense and charismatic leaders at the same time. He began to gather the followers around him, and soon, the Hassan community declared a rebellion against people, in his opinion, were foreign invaders.

The turning point in this struggle occurred in 1087. He certainly chose a profitable position: the fortress is not only high on sea level, so it is easier to protect, but also standing in a fat valley. In fact, he found the miniature kingdom – and it became the headquarters of Ismailsist in Persian.

The plan to capture Alamut, as in the case of other sectarian surfaces, took place for a long time and worked deeply. First of all, Hassan prepared the land, sent the missions of missionaries to convert civilians in the vicinity of the strongholds. He himself plays an important role, sneaking into the castle, disguising into a teacher. Gradually, missionaries secretly started the missionaries to turn the soldier's garrison into Alamut. And the converted warriors forced their Lord to overcome the fortress without fighting.

Hassan, used to be a charming missionary, quickly used to the new role – the role of a military strategist and ruler. He strengthened the walls of the castle, improved the reservoir, making the irrigation systems in adjacent assets more effectively. In other words, he did everything he could so that Alamut could withstand a long siege, because the sect would not leave the fortress in the near future.

After this activity, Hassan, in fact, received a demonstrated drawing to expand its land. He and his followers arrested or built many other fortresses in Rudbar and other areas of Dalem. Going against the opportunity, in fact, Hassan has built an Ismailist state inside Iran, which became independent of Caliphate Fatimid in Egypt.

At the same time, the leader of the sect is a smart strategist. He quickly realized that being a minority religion in a country that did not show tolerance, political structures were the best survival opportunities of the group. He could not expel the Turkish from Persia, but most of the northern part of the country joined Hassan, declaring independence from Seljuks.

A separate, it is worth noting that Hassan was able to achieve this without leaving his monastery. He spent 34 years in Aramut, without leaving his room. He did this only twice – and both times as a gift for himself to go out to breathe the air on the roof.
