Interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, which according to some scientists could be an alien ship, has detected a protective beam. Harvard University astrophysicist Avi Loeb spoke out about this and was quoted by astronomy news channel Astronomy Vibes on social network X.

According to the scientist, a space object could use this device to clear its path. Loeb came to this conclusion based on analyzing images of NASA's comet HiRISE, after which he found a strange expansion in front of the object in the direction of its motion.
According to the astrophysicist, such a streak in front of the object could be a beam of light or a stream of particles that the spacecraft emits to eliminate micrometeorites and other small particles that may fall into its field.
Loeb has previously suggested that 3I/ATLAS may have two tails. He noted the images show two jets emanating from the object, including a reflected jet extending more than 60,000 kilometers toward the Sun.
