Google is working on two types of artificial intelligence glasses, one of which is expected to launch in 2026.

RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the company's statement.
“At I/O, we announced that we're working with Samsung and our partners Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to create stylish, lightweight eyeglasses that you can wear comfortably all day long. We're working with our partners to create two types of glasses,” Google wrote.
The first, according to Google, are AI glasses designed for screen-free use with built-in speakers, microphones and cameras. These glasses will allow users to communicate with Gemini AI, take photos, and receive various forms of support. The company said they are expected to go on sale next year.
The second product Google is working on with partners is screen-integrated AI glasses that can display useful information such as navigation directions or subtitle translation. A specific release date for these glasses has not yet been determined.
