Huawei is about to surpass Apple in the Chinese smartphone market

Currently, the two leading positions in the Chinese smartphone market are both occupied by Apple and Huawei, and both companies are actively striving for the top spot.

Huawei is about to surpass Apple in the Chinese smartphone market

According to Smart Chip Insider, Apple ranked first in the first two weeks of 2026. The company's market share was 19.71% between January 5 and January 11. Huawei was slightly behind and took second place with 18.46%.

Oppo took third place with a market share of 15.54%. This number includes not only Oppo's sales but also those of OnePlus and realme. Vivo took 4th place with a score of 15.17%, including iQOO.

Fifth place belongs to Xiaomi – 13.57% of the market. The sixth position belongs to the Honor brand with a market share of 13.03%.

This is only the beginning of the year, the balance of power may still change.
