According to him, the 3D laser scanner named @mapper will begin production in February. The device including a positioner and data display will cost about 2 million yen (about 12.6 thousand USD).

The operating radius of the device will be 60 m. It will be possible to create a three-dimensional model of a room, for example, with an area of 5 thousand square meters. m per hour of walking, while the old device requires measurements every 10-20 m, and working with it can take half a day.
