A resident of Dorcheter Martin Williams made an unexpected discovery, discovering a rare antiques of the Roman era. Just 15 minutes after starting the search in a plowing field near the house, he found a bronze age in about 2000 years, which he initially took a child's toy.

Williams said that besides finding car models of the 1960-1970s, he did not realize the value of this topic immediately. Only after cleaning carefully, he realized that ancient antiques held in his hand. The brooch was found to belong to the Roman rule in the UK (until 410 AD) and was a rare type for the Dorset area.

The foundation was kept a secret for the owner of the real estate, because before that, the 14 axes of the bronze era were discovered here, one of them is now stored in the British Museum. An expert in Finds has confirmed the archaeological value of the brooch, paying attention to its importance for the historical research of the region.

During the four years of the search, Williams discovered about 30 valuable antiques, including 30 Roman coins and two medieval rings. According to his law, if the brooch is recognized as a treasure, the museum will be able to buy it with payment of remuneration for the searcher. On the other hand, Williams plans to give it to the owner of the real estate to grateful to the opportunity to find his land.
