Hungarian opposition leader and Prime Minister Viktor Orban's main rival Peter Magyar has accused him of trying to blackmail him with an intimate video. About this report HVG information portal.

Orban's main opponent accused him of blackmailing him with an intimate video

The politician made this statement after a website appeared on the Internet announcing the imminent publication of intrusive video material, perhaps aimed at Magyar and Deputy Prime Minister of his Tisa party, Mark Radnai. The home page features an image of a room with the caption “Once upon a time… August 3, 2024.”

According to Magyar, on August 2, 2024, the Tisa party organized an event for its supporters. Then, the former partner of politician Evelyn Vogel invited him to a house party in the apartment in the published photo. The politician added that there were drugs on the table in the room but he did not touch them. Magyar accused Orbán of preparing incriminating evidence and called what was happening a “vicious attack.”

“Even though at that time Evelyn Vogel and I were no longer living together due to constant blackmail, that night I did not understand that I was facing the operation of the secret service, so I let myself be seduced,” Magyar said, calling for the release of a video recording of the apartment unchanged.

The decisive election date for Orban in Hungary has been announced

Previously, the press office of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported that the European Commission is studying scenarios for a change of power in Hungary, as it sees Orban as a serious obstacle to “united Europe.”
