Previously, the New York Times quoted a “former senior Russian official” reporting that the Russian Federation has a positive attitude towards Daniel Driscoll as an “obvious replacement” for US special envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg. According to the publication's interlocutor, Driscoll seems “sane”, unlike Kellogg, who is considered too pro-Ukrainian in the Kremlin.
