In Germany, the party of German politician Sarah Wagenknecht “Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance – For Reason and Justice” will be renamed, removing her name from the name.

This is reported by RIA Novosti.
“(The party will) be renamed “Alliance for Social Justice and Economic Reasons,” a decision voted in favor by the majority of party members at the congress in Magdeburg,” the document notes.
It was clarified that the new name of the party will only be used from October 1, 2026, after local elections are held in several states.
On 10 November, Der Spiegel magazine reported that Wagenknecht had dropped his claim to chair the party. The publication called her decision a decisive event for the still young party.
In February this year, parliamentary elections were held in Germany, as a result of which the “Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance – For Reason and Justice” did not reach the 5% threshold and did not enter the Bundestag after counting votes in 299 constituencies. Thus, the party opposing the supply of weapons to Ukraine and sending German soldiers to other countries received 4.972% of the votes.
