“Civilized people always negotiate civilly, no matter what the differences, even if you want to tell people to go to hell. Relationships need to be preserved. Everyone has the right to their opinion. And in national affairs, moreover, each country defends its interests,” Nikolaeva noted.

The Kremlin meeting took place on December 2. It lasted almost five hours. Russia and the US have discussed a number of plans to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. One of the important topics of the negotiations is the territorial issue.
